Women Veterans License Plate

Arkansas now offers a Women Veterans Specialty License Plate, recognizing the service and sacrifice of women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The plate was authorized by the Arkansas legislature through Arkansas Act 51 of 2025, which created a new specialty plate dedicated specifically to women veterans, this could not have been possible without the help of Senator Dave Wallace and House Representative Stetson Painter.

Purpose

The plate design was accomplished by the Arkansas Department of Veteran Affairs team, Gina Chandler and Hollie Scoma. The blank portion on the left is a spot to personalize with Branch of Service. The Women Veteran License Plate was unveiled at the Oct 2025 Women Veteran Summit in Hot Springs, AR and became officially available to eligible veterans beginning January 1, 2026 through the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration.

The Women Veterans License Plate was created to recognize and honor the service of women veterans across Arkansas, increase visibility of women who have served in the military and a portion of the revenue from the plate helps support the Women Veteran summit by the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs.
