First Service Bank: “We’re honored to welcome Retired U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 4 Michael Durant as our featured guest speaker! A decorated master aviator and member of the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, Durant served more than two decades in the U.S. Army.

In 1993, his Black Hawk was shot down during a mission in Mogadishu, Somalia.

Durant survived the crash and was held captive for 11 days—an experience depicted in the events that inspired Black Hawk Down. His story is one of service, courage, and perseverance. Join us for a special evening supporting ORWB’s mission to serve our Veterans, active military members, and their families.
