The Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to obtain information on the number of women veterans in Arkansas. We will hold your information in the strictest of confidence as we gather voluntary information. We are interested in not only the numbers, but your background as well. Women Veterans Form Please consider filling out the form to help us in this endeavor as we plan to recognize women veterans at the first Arkansas Women Veterans Conference in 2010.

As women veterans are growing in numbers, so too are their health care needs. The VA has established a Women Veterans Health Program to address these needs on a local level.

Each VA facility has a Women Veterans Program Manager on site. The VA's Center for Women Veterans provides information that can help you navigate available services.

See your local Program Manager for information on Returning Veterans Support Groups for Women, PTSD group meetings, Female Sexual Trauma Educational Groups, Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and the wide range of women's healthcare issues covered. The VA's Frequently Asked Questions can provide more information on a full array of special programs and services.

You may also receive assistance within the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs by contacting our Service Officer and Women's Veterans Coordinator, Gina Chandler, at 501-370-3820.
