*Directions in some invitations stated Veteran drop-off is on the west entrance of the Capitol. The tunnel is actually located under the EAST steps.
For the first time in our state’s 179-year history we have designated a site and begun construction on a facility solely dedicated to caring for our most vulnerable Veterans.
The Central Arkansas Veterans Home, a cottage-style retirement facility, is anticipated to be completed by Fall 2016. Information on registration is coming soon.
We're bringing our services to you!
Beginning Fall 2015
This fall we will begin transitioning our Veteran Service Officers out of Fort Roots and into regions throughout the state. Our VSOs will not only serve the Veterans throughout their region, but also provide training so that every County Veteran Service Officer is accredited and has access into the VA system.
