Map to the Fayetteville Veterans Home
Officials broke ground for the Fayetteville Veterans Home on September 3, 2004. We welcomed our first resident on June 21, 2006. The Veterans Home is a state owned facility under the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs. Our veterans home is a licensed 108 bed, Medicaid and Medicare, skilled nursing facility. In addition, we have been approved and recognized by the Federal Veterans Administration as being a qualified state veterans home.
One of the benefits of being a state veterans home, is that we are required to provide RN coverage for all three shifts, 24 hours a day. This is not a requirement for private nursing homes. Another service we provide to our veterans, their families and visitors is security personnel on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
