Founded in Little Rock in 1980 as a domiciliary, this facility now provides 55 domiciliary and 61 intermediate care nursing beds.
The home provides a meaningful living environment for honorably discharged veterans. All living, dining, recreational and medical facilities necessary to provide a safe, high quality life style in a modern setting are provided. Residents also have access to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Central Arkansas Healthcare System.
With twenty-four hour nursing service and a staff physician, medical needs are fully met. With licensed social workers and an activities director, each resident has the support and encouragement he or she might need to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
- Honorable Discharge.
- Residency in Arkansas or family living in Arkansas.
- Meet income/asset guidelines. Submit a current medical
summary. - Totally disabled by Veterans Administration Guidelines.
- Express a desire to reside in the Veterans Home.
PROVIDED SERVICES:
- Medical Doctor on staff.
- RN's, LPN's, CNA's - 24- hour care.
- A Certified Dietician.

- Our dietetic service features a kitchen staff that cooks fresh
hot meals. - 2 Licensed Social Workers coordinating with staff for the best
quality life possible for our veterans. - Vocational therapy for veterans.
- Activities Director - Weekly outings, ceramics in house, and activities designed strictly for our veterans.
- Transportation available for outings.
- Security staff 24 hours daily.
- 2 Whirlpools
- Free cable TV in every room
- Large fenced in yard with walking track
- Pool tables, foosball, shuffleboard
